*Romans10:9 (the 18″ between your heart and your head.) Until we figure out how to get our minds in tune to our hearts we’re going to miss out on things.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.–I know in my heart the Bible says this, but I know in my mind there’s no way I can do this.
Psalm 26: 2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. We know that God knows our hearts but we should want him to search our hearts and minds so that our minds will stop getting in the way. God is in control of all things. How many of us worry about things we can’t fix or change? Why would we worry about or try to fix anything if we know God is in control. Because our minds say God can’t or won’t fix it….
*God says whatever you ask will be done, but you have to believe cause if you doubt it and don’t believe, nothing will be done. Philippians 3:18-19 God is only limited by us and our limitations we place on Him. Jesus was Fully human. Jesus came and lived and died for all the people who even denied Him. He died for all of those who sit in pews to fulfill their obligation to Him, those who are hypocrites, those who are murderers, *Everyone.* If God died for everyone and loves everyone…we should love everyone too.
Salvation is a free gift from God, our heart knows that, but our mind doesn’t believe it…our minds say that we have to do something to earn that. Reality is that no one deserves anything from God… But there’s a big difference from reality and spirituality and God’s love. Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Just accept it, let your mind believe it that God loves you and died for you and can do anything and can break addiction…anything is possible..just give God a chance.
Sometimes you say in the back I your mind, you don’t need God, or I’m not worthy, or God can’t fix my problems. There is *Nothing God can’t do if we just believe. It has to start with us, it has to start in our hearts, we have to let our hearts take control of our minds. What we know is true in our hearts we have to believe in our minds. There is hope in Jesus Christ. Anything is possible if you just allow it to be.
Our heart knows that God is the Creator and In Control and He loves us.
