Ephesians 2:1-22 It’s not easy, it’s hard, but if you stand firm you will be saved.   If God calls you to do something and you don’t do it you are sinning. We all have sin in our lives, therefore we are all dead.

There is a place called hell. If you say you’re a believer of Jesus Christ and don’t live according you are going there. When you meet Jesus face to face and accept Him- those sins you had were “used to’s.” You’ve got to repent from those things. The farther you go in that repentance the farther you get from those digs and the easier it gets to avoid them.

Repenting is so much more than saying I’m sorry. In your heart “I’m sorry” isn’t enough. If you’re truly sorry you wouldn’t do it again. The first step is to repent of your sin and let go of it. God doesn’t look at you and what you’re doing, He looks at your heart. You can forget what you were in the past and let that go once you’ve repented because you’re made new and God has cast it away.

Every time you say “oh I’m gonna mess up anyway cause I’m human,” the devil’s gonna hear that and say “oh I can get them.” You can’t change what you’ve done but there is one who can. There is power in the blood of Jesus. God is faithful to hear your prayer.

Satan is a liar. He tells you you are worthless and unworthy. However do you remember the story of the prodigal son? You will always be God’s child no matter what you’ve done. The same power that rose Jesus from the grave lives in us. God will show up. 1Kings19:4-5 (Elijah) Some of your purpose right now might be just to get it right. Even if your tired and ready to give up. God is waiting for you, because Jesus died once and for all.
