**What it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. -when you know someone personally it’s easier to talk to them. In order to love him or anyone you have to get to know them. God has individual relationships specific for each of us designed around who we are for Him. Your relationship with Jesus has to be personal.

*John10:24-30 We are God’s sheep, we follow His voice and no one can snatch us away from Him. *God is speaking to you every day. He will speak to us in a way we can hear him if we listen. He knows us. If he knit us together in the womb and knew us before we were created, then He knows how to speak to us. We have to take responsibility for His calling in our lives and must let it be ours.
*1 John 3:16-24
God gives individual convictions to each of us cause each relationship with him is personal and individual. One small thing that God wants you to do may not be the same for someone else.  If you are comfortable ask God if you’re doing everything He wants you to do. If we will be uncomfortable for God, He will take care of everything else. *We have to understand that God wants a relationship with us. He has pursued us and is pursuing us. Be uncomfortable and stand up and let your friends bash you about your old self, then stand up and say you’re right!! That’s what I did, God has made me new and I’m different now. He died for you to have a relationship with Him…not a relationship like your pastor has, not like what your friend has, but a specific personal relationship with God made specifically for you. Jesus is begging you to let go and give Him a chance. He wants to break the chains we think are unbreakable, He just loves us and wants us to come to Him.
Thank you to G. Conley for the summary.
