30 days with Jesus – (day 1) His coming is predicted

Day 1 – Jesus coming is predicted–Isaiah 7:14; 9:1-9; Luke 1:26-38
Let us look at Isaiah first. Chapter 7: 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
Did this happen? As Christians, yes it did and her name is Mary.
In Isaiah 9:1-9 the Bible tells us no more gloom for those walking in distress, no more darkness for they will see the light. In verse 6 a child is born; he will be called

Luke 1:26-38, which you can read in full, click on the link. It speaks of the 6th month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy Mary had a visit from the angel Gabriel. Of course Mary was frightened and confused. The angel told her to not fret as the Holy Spirit was upon her. Gabriel foretold of Jesus, the Son of God and that even her cousin, Elizabeth, in her old age was pregnant.Gabriel said no word from God would ever fail. Wow! A lot for a teenage girl to comprehend. So, what does Mary do?
verse 38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
Wow!! Tomorrow Jesus is born!
